Visit the ancient capital city of Memphis and explore the monumental structure of the Pharaonic city. Though little remains of this pharaonic city, the open-air museum here is worth a visit. See the huge fallen image of Ramesses II at the museum.

● Saqqara
See the oldest pyramid of the world at Saqqara. Said to be the world’s oldest monumental structure, the unique pyramid of Djoser in Saqqara is part of a funeral parlor complex for the 3rd Dynasty king Djoser. Saqqara is an ancient burial ground in Egypt, marvel at the Zoser Step Pyramid that has a funeral complex including temples and tombs with tangled wall inscriptions. Take a trip to the pyramid of Unas, the Serapeum, and Mastabas, also known as the tombs of Nobles.

● The Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx
The Great Pyramids of Giza in Cairo are one of the Old Seven Wonders of the world. The Great Pyramid was built by the Egyptian pharaoh Khufu around 2560 BC. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, the body of lion and head of Pharaoh which dates from the time of Chephren, visit the Valley Temple which belongs to the pyramid of Chephren.
