The temple of Amun, the complex's main structure, is the largest place of worship ever built. It is surrounded by two other massive temples.

● Luxor Museum
Luxor Museum presents the ancient Egyptian mythology symbolized the journey to the afterlife art in a different way and displays related artifacts. The Museum is located in the central part of the city, overlooking the River Nile. The museum is housed in a small, purpose-built building. It has a range of artifacts on display with clear multilingual labeling used for grave relics from the tomb of Tutankhamen and a collection of 26 well-preserved New Kingdom statues.

● The Temple of Luxor
The Temple of Luxor is a must-see iconic landmark on any tour to Luxor; it is a testimony to the history of the continuous history of Egypt. Many pharaohs played a part in building this temple over the years including Tutankhamen, Hatshepsut, and Ramses II. As you walk through the temple you can see the contributions of each one usually where you find statues and images of them carved in the walls.

* Day 2

● Medinet Habu (The Mortuary Temple of Ramesses III)
It is also referred to as the Temple of Ramses III. The Mortuary Temple of Ramses III has well preserved Ancient Egyptian art and architecture. The funerary temple includes various military and religious motifs. The entrance to this temple complex is through the singular huge gate; this large building is particular to Medinat Habu and is carved with giant images of the Ramses III.

● The Colossi of Memnon
On the west bank of the River Nile, you will visit the two statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon). These two gigantic figures of Amenhotep III were originally situated in front of his Mortuary temple, which seems to have been destroyed for unknown reasons.

● Valley of the Kings
A truly impressive sight! There, you will find Tutankhamen’s tomb and the tomb of Ramses IV. It is a valley in Egypt where tombs were built for the Pharaoh and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom. The major attraction in the Valley of Kings is the Tomb of Tutankhamun. Although the tomb alone is worth a visit, you will have to visit the Egyptian Museum in Cairo to see the treasures Tutankhamen was buried with.

● Temple of Hatshepsut
The temple is unique because it was designed like classical architecture. Note the lengthy, colonnaded terrace some of which is 97 ft. high, pylons, courts, and hypostyle hall. Inside you’ll see the sun court, chapel, and sanctuary. As you approach it from the distance, it is as if you are looking at a modern building that has been carved out of a mountain. Dier El-Bahari was commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut as a funerary monument to honor her father and herself.

The tour ends in Luxor and you will be transferred back to Hurghada.
