Description

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course can be executed immediately after the Open Water Diver certification. It is designed to improve your scuba diving skills and knowledge and to help you build trust in your diving skills through various adventure dives.

During the course, you will try out different scuba diving topics and gain further diving experience under the supervision of your experienced diving instructor. You log multiple dives and develop new skills while trying new things in diving.

Open water divers from the age of 12 can take an Advanced Open Water Diver course. During the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, you will do five dives, each with a different theme. There are two mandatory dives - deep dive and underwater navigation - and you choose the other three to get a total of five dives.

During the deep dive, you will learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deep diving. The underwater navigation dive refines your navigation skills with the compass and helps you navigate better with the help of kick cycles, visual landmarks, and timing.

The other diving skills and abilities you acquire vary depending on your interest and the adventure dives you do - e.g. Photography, perfect buoyancy, fish identification, exploring wrecks, and more.

Additional Info

  • Description: The course provides certified Open Water divers with well-organized, structured and experiences to new diving situations. Completing five dives in various underwater activities. Increasing your experiences and capabilities.
  • Recommended depth: You will be qualified to a depth of 30m and able to dive with a buddy independent of a PADI Professional.
  • International Certificate: After completing your course you will receive an international diving certificate which will allow you to dive all around the world
  • Minimum age: From 10 years old. Children aged 12 to 14 can earn their Jr Advanced Open Water certification, with a maximum depth limit of 21 meters/70 feet.
  • Duration: 2 days
  • Summarization: 3 different dives depending on your choice plus 1 deep dive and 1 navigation dive.
