● The Egyptian Museum

Mummies of the great Egyptian rulers and more than 200,000 artifacts from ancient Egypt await you. These include Coffins and mummies of Amun priests, the more than 5300 individual pieces from the tomb of Tutankhamun, and jewelry of Queen Ahhotep I.

● The great pyramids of Giza
The pyramids of Giza are considered to be the last remaining structure of the seven wonders of the ancient world. It took a long time until the purpose of the pyramids was rediscovered, but today we know that the buildings served Egyptian rulers as tombs. It is a long way and a lot of work until the pyramids of Giza are in place. In fact, it is at least forty-five centuries that look down on the many visitors who visit the most famous archaeological site in the world every day. The construction of the pyramids of Giza is still puzzled today. In the pyramids of Giza, however, no mummies, grave goods, or inscriptions were to be found. It has long been believed that around 10,000 Egyptian workers built the Giza pyramids. It seems to be fairly clear that the pyramids should represent a kind of connection between heaven and earth, above all to facilitate the ascent to heaven for the pharaohs or their souls after their death. Research, excavation, and work around the monuments are still in full swing, and it will be a long time before the last puzzle is finally solved - if all the puzzles can ever be solved.
