Description

The next higher level of training is achieved with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver diving certificate. The practical course serves to deepen and improve your diving knowledge and skills. During three boat trips, 5 adventure dives (plus 1 additional dive) are carried out within the various diving specialties. In addition to the obligatory deep dive and navigation dive, there are three other dives (e.g. current, buoyancy, wreck, rescue, etc.) available to choose from. A popular reason to complete the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is the maximum diving depth of 30 meters allowed after completion.

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver is designed to help you improve your diving knowledge and skills quickly and easily. You can register immediately after completing the Open Water Diver certification, regardless of how much experience you have. The diving course helps you to build confidence in your navigation, refine your buoyancy, and introduces you to various diving activities such as wreck diving, night diving, or underwater image creation. You do 5 adventure dives; a deep dive (over 18m), a navigation dive, and three additional adventure dives of your choice to earn the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification. If you would like to deepen your diving knowledge in one or more disciplines afterward or at a later point in time, you can obtain the Specialty Diver. Your first, already completed, adventure dive of the respective diving topic will be taken into account.

In addition to the compulsory Deep Diver and Underwater Navigator adventure dives, you can freely choose 3 other diving specialties from a total of 12:

Additional Info

  • Description: The course provides certified Open Water divers with well-organized, structured and experiences to new diving situations. Completing five dives in various underwater activities. Increasing your experiences and capabilities.
  • Recommended depth: You will be qualified to a depth of 30m and able to dive with a buddy independent of a PADI Professional.
  • International Certificate: After completing your course you will receive an international diving certificate which will allow you to dive all around the world
  • Minimum age: From 10 years old. Children aged 12 to 14 can earn their Jr Advanced Open Water certification, with a maximum depth limit of 21 meters/70 feet.
  • Duration: 2 days
  • Summarization: 3 different dives depending on your choice plus 1 deep dive and 1 navigation dive.
