● The Egyptian National Museum
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is one of the most popular destinations for tourists and has several million visitors every year. In addition to the around 120,000 pieces that are shown in the exhibition rooms, the museum's large cellar vaults house many treasures and surprises that have never been seen by anyone, apart from a small group of scientists. There are also a large number of as yet undocumented finds. The tomb treasure of Pharaoh Tutankhamun (1332–1323 BC) from the 18th dynasty deserves the greatest attention. The treasure presents the splendor of pharaonic Egypt with the help of precious collectibles (jewels, clothes, weapons, golden coffins of the king). Among them is the golden mask of King Tutankhamun. This golden portrait fascinates visitors from all over the world again and again and it is probably the most famous artwork of mankind.

● The pyramids of Giza
Eight kilometers from Giza are the great pyramids of Giza. They are the only one of the seven wonders of the world that still stands today. In the 4th Dynasty, the large world-famous pyramids were built with a square floor plan and surfaces that tapered smoothly towards the top. The three pyramids of Giza which are located around 15 kilometers from downtown Cairo also belong to this category. The largest is the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the middle one is the Great Pyramid of Chephren, and the smallest of the three is the pyramid of Pharaoh Mykerinos. The three namesakes of the buildings ruled in this order. Cheops was the father of Chephren, Mykerinos his grandson. The accuracy used is astonishingly good. Our civilization has only had such accurate earth data since 1966. Besides, the Great Pyramid of Cheops has perfectly measured right angles, which are a mystery to researchers. Even with modern measuring devices, the angles couldn't be more accurate. These impressive structures look even more imposing from close up and the work that people performed here thousands of years ago only unfolds its full effect when you stand directly in front of it. It is no coincidence that many historians, archaeologists, and mathematicians come here to visit the pyramids.

● The Sphinx:
The huge stone statue has a lion's body and a human head. The approximately 20 m high and 73 m long Sphinx stands next to the path that leads to the Chephren pyramid. He is the largest sphinx that has ever existed and is clearly male. His monumental lion body with the friendly pharaoh's head is supposed to guard the entrance to the realm of the dead.
