Description

You have been planning for a long time or have just decided to learn scuba diving properly! The PADI Open Water Diver course is a globally recognized basic certificate for scuba diving.

In this 3-day course, you will learn everything about diving theory, safety and develop your scuba diving skills. The PADI Open Water Diver Course lasts three days and you will discover a new world underwater for yourself step by step and have a lot of fun doing it.

The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of 3 main phases:
1. Diving Theory:
Development of theoretical knowledge to understand the basics of scuba diving.

2. Practical exercises to train and refine the diving skills that you prepare for your open water dives.

3. 2 x open water dives to implement your learned diving skills and knowledge & explore the underwater world.

- Diving course program:
Diving course day 1 - diving theory 1-3, exercises in limited open water (pool)

Diving course day 2 - open water dives 1 + 2 with exercises up to max. 12 m, diving theory 4-5

Diving course day 3 - open water dives 3 + 4 with exercises up to max. 18 meters, theory completion with test and certification.

Additional Info

  • Duration: 3 days
  • Description: Combining diving theory, skills training, and open water diving.
  • Recommended depth: You will be qualified to a depth of 18m and able to dive with a buddy independently.
  • International Certificate: After completing your course you will receive an international diving certificate which will allow you to dive all around the world.
  • Basic scuba gear: Mask, exposure suit, scuba unit (the underwater breathing apparatus), dive computer, weight system, and fins
  • Minimum age: From 10 years old. Children aged 10 and 11 can earn the PADI Jr Open Water Diver certification, diving to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet with a PADI Professional or a certified parent/guardian. Children aged 12 to 14 can also be Jr Open Water Diver certified, to a maximum depth of 18 meters/60 feet with any adult certified diver.
