Description

It has been shown from many experiences over the years that certain skills and knowledge after the PADI basic course are very sensible and that they would like to be learned by almost every OWD diver. According to these specializations, the paths of preferences are always shared. Therefore, the PADI Advanced Open Water diving course was developed, it covers exactly these experiences.

The PADI Advanced Open Water course is the most widespread extension course. Advanced knowledge, development of theoretical knowledge, and diving skills are conveyed to the diver in a controlled environment. The course is the best way to collect more dives while learning more under the guidance of your PADI instructor.

After completing your PADI Open Water Diver course, which entitles you to dive to a maximum depth of only 18 meters, you should take the Advanced Open Water Diver course if you want to go deeper. After completing the Advanced Open Water Diver Course, you are entitled to dive to a maximum of 30 meters.

Basically, the PADI Advanced Open Water course consists of five dives.

Prerequisites for participation in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course you must:
- Be a PADI Open Water Diver or have an equivalent diving license from another diving organization

- Be at least 15 years old (12 for the Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)

  • A fully equipped dive boat
  • Logbook and diver certification
  • Transfer from and to your hotel in El Gouna

Exclusions

  • National park fee 5 € for diver
  • Any Extras not mentioned in the itinerary

Additional Info

  • Description: The course provides certified Open Water divers with well-organized, structured and experiences to new diving situations. Completing five dives in various underwater activities. Increasing your experiences and capabilities.
  • Recommended depth: You will be qualified to a depth of 30m and able to dive with a buddy independent of a PADI Professional.
  • International Certificate: After completing your course you will receive an international diving certificate which will allow you to dive all around the world
  • Minimum age: From 10 years old. Children aged 12 to 14 can earn their Jr Advanced Open Water certification, with a maximum depth limit of 21 meters/70 feet.
  • Duration: 2 days
  • Summarization: 3 different dives depending on your choice plus 1 deep dive and 1 navigation dive.
